Privacy and data protection
Privacy Policy.
How Paranton processes personal data when you visit paranton.com, submit a business enquiry or communicate with us about products, quotations, orders or cooperation.
1. Who we are
Paranton EE ("Paranton", "we", "us") is a company registered in Greece under General Commercial Registry (G.E.MI.) No. 184614707000, with its business address at 55-57 Iroon Polytechniou Avenue, Piraeus 185 35, Greece. Paranton operates paranton.com and is the controller of the personal data described in this Privacy Policy. For any privacy question or request, contact us at info@paranton.com.
2. Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy applies when you browse our website, submit a business enquiry through the Contact form, communicate with us by email or telephone, request product information or a quotation, discuss an order, or enquire about a Network or Clinical Partnership.
Paranton.com is an informational B2B website. It does not provide customer accounts, a shopping cart, online checkout or online payment processing. Quotations, orders, invoicing and payment arrangements are handled separately from the website through direct business communication.
Our Contact form is intended only for business contact and enquiry information.
3. Personal data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:
- Business identity and contact data, including clinic or company name, contact name, professional email address, telephone number and country, together with a professional role or business website if you provide them during later communication.
- Enquiry and cooperation data, including the reason for contacting us, product interests, purchasing requirements, countries of operation, professional information and the contents of your message.
- Quotation, supply and fulfilment data processed outside the website, including products and quantities requested, quotation and order details, VAT and invoicing information, billing and delivery contacts, shipping instructions, tracking information, payment status and bank-transfer references. The website does not collect payment-card details.
- Correspondence and customer-support records created when we communicate with you.
- Technical and usage data, including IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, pages visited, security logs, cookie identifiers and consent choices. Google Analytics data is collected only if you consent to Statistics cookies.
4. Where the data comes from
We receive personal data directly from you, from the clinic, company or professional practice you represent, from our communications with you, from logistics or professional service providers involved in a business transaction, and automatically through the website and its consented technologies.
5. Why we use personal data and our legal bases
We process personal data only where we have a valid legal basis:
- To respond to enquiries, prepare quotations and assess cooperation requests: to take steps at your request before entering into a contract and, where applicable, for our legitimate interest in managing B2B relationships.
- To manage confirmed B2B orders, invoicing, dispatch, delivery and customer support outside the website: performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in managing the relationship with the organisation you represent.
- To issue and retain invoices, maintain accounting records and comply with tax, regulatory and other legal requirements: compliance with a legal obligation.
- To operate, maintain and secure the website, prevent misuse, maintain business records and establish, exercise or defend legal claims: our legitimate interests, balanced against your rights and interests.
- To use Google Analytics Statistics cookies: your consent. You may withdraw that consent at any time through Cookie Settings without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
Paranton does not use the website to make decisions about you based solely on automated processing and does not conduct website profiling for advertising.
6. Who receives personal data
We disclose personal data only where necessary to:
- Website hosting, maintenance, email, IT, form-processing and security providers.
- Cookiebot by Usercentrics for consent management and, only after Statistics consent, Google for Google Analytics.
- Warehouses, couriers, customs agents and other logistics providers involved in an agreed shipment.
- Banks, accountants, insurers, legal advisers and other professional advisers.
- Public authorities where disclosure is required by law.
Each recipient receives only the information needed for its role. Paranton does not disclose website enquiry data to e-commerce or online payment processors because the website does not use those services.
7. International transfers
We aim to process personal data within the European Economic Area. Some technology providers may process data in other countries. Where a transfer outside the European Economic Area requires safeguards, we rely on an applicable adequacy decision, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism, together with additional safeguards where required. You may contact us for further information about a transfer relevant to your data.
8. How long we keep personal data
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for any applicable legal, tax, accounting or claims period. Enquiry and cooperation data is reviewed when the relevant discussion ends and is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed, unless a business relationship begins or retention is necessary for a legal claim. Quotation, order, invoice and accounting records are retained for the period required by applicable law. Cookie and consent records are retained for the periods shown in the Cookie Policy and live cookie declaration.
9. Your rights
Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you may request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise a right, email info@paranton.com. We may request information necessary to verify your identity. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr) or with the supervisory authority in the EU country where you live or work.
10. Cookies and analytics
We use strictly necessary technologies to operate the website and remember your privacy choices. Google Analytics cookies are used only after you give consent to Statistics cookies. The current cookies, providers, purposes and durations are listed in our Cookie Policy and live cookie declaration. You can change your choice at any time through Cookie Settings in the website footer.
11. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful loss, alteration, unauthorised access or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. Third-party websites and communication platforms
Our website contains links to third-party websites, social networks and communication platforms. If you choose to follow a link or contact us through a third-party platform, that provider processes data under its own privacy notice and terms. Paranton does not control those third-party services.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our website, business processes, service providers or legal obligations change. The current version will always be published on this page with its last-updated date.
