FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the 12539DC2 used for?
It is a hands-free optical magnification system with localized LED illumination for precision visual work in clinical, laboratory and technical environments.
What magnification levels are included?
0.75× · 1.25× · 2.0× · 3.0× · 4.0×
How do I choose the correct lens?
Start with the lowest magnification that provides enough detail. Move to a higher magnification only when a closer, more detailed view is required.
Why does the image look blurry?
Blur is usually caused by an unsuitable lens, incorrect working distance, improper lens angle, dirty optics or uncorrected eyesight. Adjust the distance and lens angle gradually until the image becomes sharp.
How is the wearing configuration adjusted?
Use the standard eyeglass configuration for general use. Attach the included elastic headband when additional stability is required.
How do I operate the LED illumination?
Press the power switch once for low brightness, a second time for high brightness and a third time to switch the LED illumination off.
How do I charge the device?
Recharge when only one battery-level indicator remains illuminated. Use the supplied USB-C cable with a suitable 5 V USB power source. During charging, the four battery indicators flash progressively; charging is complete when all four indicators remain steadily illuminated. Do not use the LED illumination while charging.
How should I clean and protect the lenses?
Handle lenses by their outer edges and clean them with the supplied wipe cloth or a soft lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol, solvents or abrasive materials, and store the system in the protective carrying case when not in use.
